When did you get your first bass?
Actually I don't have a bass yet. But I'm saving up.

What made you want to play?
I thought guitar was cooler than violin. Y'all ever heard of Itzhak Perlman? Exactly.

Who are your influences?
Television. Maybe in particular "Malcolm in the Middle."

If you could take anyone out to dinner, who would it be?
Neil Young and Lynyrd Skynyrd. And by dinner I mean four bottles of whiskey. And I'd make sure to bring a camera.

Latrrell Spreewell. Girl, he bad!

Edgar Allen Poe. That guys was a compulsive gambler, drunk, and junkie who died in the gutter way before it was fashionable. Truly a literary pioneer. Bukowski and Burroughs eat your heart out.

"The Raven" was a poem right? See above.

What gear do you use?
I play a couple of Strats, a National Resophonic Guitar(Dobro), and a couple a guitars called Italias that Jess hipped me to. I've got a Fender Vibro King that I use for bigger gigs, and some smaller amps for clubs. I've also been digging these effect pedals made by a company in Houston called Lock And Rock. I use the Quick Boost, Tremo Boost, Sour Boost, & Tidal Wave. Check out their web site for the good info. www.LOCKANDROCK.com.

What was your most favorite gig ever?
Too Hard.

Name some famous encounters?
I saw Jimmy Page at Rockin' Robin Guitars & Music in Houston. Later that month I got the stores news letter, and there was a picture a Jimmy Page and some other folks, and then me off in the background. That was kinda cool.

Ice Man (remember those Saturday-morning cartoons with Spiderman, Fire Girl or whatever and Ice Man? That guy.)

I don't know.

Who drinks decaf?!! Why? What's the point? "Hi I drink Decaf because I don't need caffeine to get along in today's fast-paced, soul-free society of global networking interface outsourcing solutions. I'm some kind of freakish super human drone who can go on smiling and customer-servicing forever without the aid of artificial stimulants." La-dee-freakin'-da. Guess what, Kids, in the real world people drink coffee with caffeine. It's the only way.

A cop. Guns, hookers, drugs, and donuts. Does a work environment get any better?
